AMD (NYSE: AMD) and HP (NYSE: HPQ) (Nasdaq: HPQ) today announced that they have generated more than $2 million to support the Lance Armstrong Foundation (LAF) through sales of the HP Special Edition L2000 Notebook PC, powered by AMD Turion™ 64 mobile technology. Thanks to the tremendous success of this initiative, availability of this one-of-a-kind notebook will be extended through June 2006.
