SUNNYVALE, CA -- April 13, 2005 --Spansion, the flash memory venture of AMD (NYSE:AMD) and Fujitsu (TSE:6702), today announced it has filed a registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission for a proposed initial public offering of its class A common stock. The number of shares to be offered and the estimated price range for the common stock have not been determined.
