AMD And Spansion Contribute $1.5 Million To...

 
SUNNYVALE, CALIF -- January 17, 2005 --AMD (NYSE: AMD) today announced it will donate $1.5 million (U.S.) in financial support for relief and recovery efforts in response to the devastating tsunami in Southeast Asia. The company will also utilize its employee-giving program to provide a one-to-one match on all donations made by AMD and Spansion employees worldwide to qualified non-profit relief agencies including AmeriCares, the American Red Cross, UNICEF and USAID.
