Intel Digital Home Fund Invests In Four Companies

 
INTEL DEVELOPER FORUM, BARCELONA, Spain, April 21, 2004 - Intel Corporation today announced that its venture investing organization, Intel Capital, has made four new investments in companies developing innovative technologies for the digital home.

Speaking to technology industry engineers, developers and designers at the Intel Developer Forum (IDF), Intel Capital President John Miner disclosed that the $200 million Intel Digital Home Fund invested in Digital 5 Inc.; a provider of consumer electronics networking technology; Staccato Communications Inc., an ultra-wideband (UWB) wireless solutions developer; Trymedia Systems Inc., a secure distribution technology and services provider; and Wisair Ltd., a UWB wireless chipset and solutions company.
