Intel Adds Atom N270 to Embedded Roadmap -...

Intel today announced 7-year long lifecycle support for the Intel® Atom™ processor N270 validated with the Mobile Intel®945GSE Express chipset. This addition to the embedded product line gives more choice to customers designing low power Intel® architecture platforms that need flexible I/O and graphics capabilities for large-screen displays. With the addition of the Atom N270 and previously-announced support for the Intel Atom processor Z5xx series, embedded customers can now choose the platform that best complements their design needs in a range of applications, such as digital signage, interactive kiosks, thin clients, digital security, residential gateways, print imaging or commercial and industrial control. For more information, please see the fact sheet and the N270 page.
