Intel Vice President Doug Fisher will speak at VMworld 2008 in a keynote address titled "Intel Accelerates Virtualization." Fisher will discuss next generation virtualization platform advancements and Intel's collaboration with VMware on Tuesday, Sept. 16. Intel will also be participating in five breakout sessions throughout the conference, tackling a variety of virtualization topics such as power management, networking input/output and processor and platform architecture. Additional Intel activities include eight live demos, a booth (#900) and 24 Chalk Talks hosted by Intel and other virtualization industry leaders. Intel is a platinum sponsor of VMworld, located at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas, Sept. 15 - 18.
