Telmex Donates 50,000 Classmate PC-based Computers

 
Mexico's leading telecom service provider, Telmex, has donated 50,000 PCs based on the Intel-powered classmate PC. The computers will be part of Telmex's digital inclusion program for junior high school students in Mexico. Intel chairman Craig Barrett attended the event in which Carlos Slim HelĂș, chairman and CEO of Telmex announced the donation. The Intel-powered classmate PC is a mobile personal learning devices specifically design to enhance learning experience for students.
