Intel Joint-Venture with Nobel Peace Prize Winner Dr.

  
During the World Congress of IT in Malaysia, Intel Chairman Craig Barrett announced that Intel and Grameen Trust will form a social venture dedicated to bringing ICT to rural and impoverished communities. Dr. Muhammed Yunus developed the famed "social business" model to promote microfinancing and this venture is a first-of-its kind for Intel Capital.
