Ah, Breathe Deeper - Intel Wins Clean Air Award

Today, the organization Breathe California presented Intel with its Clean Air Award. Breath California honors individuals and companies for efforts to reduce global warming and climate change, and adds to the more than 80 awards that Intel has won for corporate social responsibility in the past year. Intel was chosen for this award for actions such as purchasing renewable energy certificates and initiating an agreement in the semiconductor industry to reduce perfluorocompound (PFCs) emissions. Intel’s newest Core and Atom processors with reinvented transistors and 45nm manufacturing also have removed eco-unfriendly lead and soon halogen from our chips. Breathe California is dedicated to fighting lung disease and helping make communities healthier places to live. Learn more here.
