During the first half of 2008, two journalists Thorsten Wehner and Nik Schäffler are travelling across Germany in a 1974 Volkswagen bus. Their job with some help from Intel? Find hidden technology innovations. Videos, texts, images from the road and information about the endeavor will appear on www.projekt-deutschlandreise.de. Stops along the way include CeBIT in Hanover, the e-health company BrainLAB near Munich, the provider of engineering services to the German automotive industry IAV in Berlin, the Leibniz Supercomputing Centre in Garching near Munich, the Public Private Partnership Screeningport in Hamburg and the Intel Microprocessor Research Lab Germany in Brunswick.
