What's a Transistor? Meet Haf "The...

What is a transistor and how do the hundreds of millions of them work on a processor not much larger than a postage stamp? Meet Little Haf the frog, who learns about big change. Transistors have become essential engines inside all modern electronics devices. Yet they keep shrinking, and soon using 45 nanometers and the element Hafnium, they're nearing the size of a single atom and so small that more than 4 million of them could fit on the period at the end of this sentence. See it here. Big thanks to artist and director Geoff McFetridge.
